CWC Welcomes Patrick Wilde!

CWC is excited to announce the addition of our newest staff member, Patrick Wilde! Patrick joins Common Wealth Charlotte as Manager, Financial Health Workplace. In this role, he is responsible for promoting financial literacy and wellness in places of employment, helping organizations realize the value of investing in their employees' financial well-being.

“Patrick’s strategic planning capabilities, excellent analytical skills, and essential project management skills are monumental to building this great program, said Tonia Frazier, Director of Financial Education. He was one of the first volunteers to complete the requirements of becoming a CWC Certified Financial Educator, where he presented our empowerment workshops across Charlotte and Mecklenburg County. We are fortunate to have Patrick on our team!”

Patrick grew up in Chapel Hill, NC, and has lived in Charlotte for almost 25 years. He and his wife have been married for 20 years, with a 14-year-old son and a family dog. Patrick enjoys staying active, watching college sports, and cooking.  One of his favorite aspects about Charlotte is the incredible diversity of fun things to do for both adults and families alike. Patrick is also an active part of the Charlotte community and enjoys volunteering with their son’s school, with Social Venture Partner’s SEED20 program and with other programs that promote financial literacy.

After having received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and his graduate degree from UNC-Chapel Hill, Patrick spent more than 10 years at Wells Fargo, most recently working on the Company’s Financial Health team as a digital product strategist. He is a versatile strategic business builder who combines excellent analytical skills, a broad perspective, and customer focus to help organizations translate strategy into actionable products and services. His background and skillset, alongside his passion for financial literacy, will be a great asset in leading our initiative to place financial education and counseling services onsite at businesses as employee benefits.

Patrick’s favorite financial motto is, "build confidence, health, and wealth through the formation of bite-sized, achievable habits - every little bit counts."

We are excited to have him as part of the team!
